Solution Overview

  • Our solution provides real-time monitoring & control of dewatering pumps, giving users visibility across their whole fleet from their office. This gives people better access to data and fascilitates faster descistion making.
  • The data collected collecting informaiton such as:
    • Engine health & performance data,
    • Engine hours,
    • Fuel Level,
    • Pump performance (suction & discharge pressures),
    • Location.
  • Coupled with the ability to monitor, we also provision for remote start & stop as well as fault clearing should it be appropriate to do so.

Data Acquisition & Transmission

  • We support a wide range of industry standard engine controllers (ComAp, Kensho, DSE, etc.), typically interfacing with them via Modbus. This means the existing engine controller is still responsible for all engine management, with Aperture’s solution acting as an extension effectively allowing you to interact with the controller remotely as though you were standing in front of it.
  • Once data is collected by our PLC, it's then transmitted via geostationary satellites directly to the cloud. Additionally, messages can be sent from the cloud back to the controller to enable remote start/stop and fault reset functions.

Integration & Retrofit Options

  • Most pumps are already equipped with engine controllers compatible with our monitoring kit. If the existing hardware is not suitable, we can arrange for an upgrade to ensure full compatibility. The range of data available will depend on the sensors currently installed on the pump; if additional sensors (such as fuel level) are required, we can supply and install these as part of the integration process.
